Summer weather finally seems to be settling in, and I don’t know about you guys but I am getting pretty excited about being able to go outside without a scarf and coat! Unfortunately it is exam season for a lot of us, but this means whenever it gets too much and we just fancy a break, we don’t even have to wander to the shops anymore for some retail therapy thanks to the wonderful invention of… online shopping. What would we do without it? I don’t know about you guys but summer has always been my favourite season for amazing clothes and at this time of year it’s all about the accessories :]

As the nights are warming up, it is so much easier to dress appropriately for a night out when you don’t have to think about bringing a jumper, a coat, tights… Here are some summer nights ideas from me!

Sodamix navy crochet border dress

This cute little summer dress from BHS is at £25 BUT currently has 20% off, so you could get this simple little number for just £20! I really like the white crochet detail on the hem of the dress and on the sleeves, they truly make the dress. This navy dress tucks in at the waist- always flattering. I like the fact that this dress is navy, a nice change from black, and a bit less wintery! This would look really cute with a pair of mocassins during the day, and light coloured wedges at night. There is nothing wrong with keeping things unfussy and simple, so all I would add to this is a couple of simple bracelets on one wrist and an amazing, vintage ring.

Leopard print headband

I have actually been looking for a leopard print headband for months. This is only £5 and currently has 30% off, so it doesn’t get any cheaper than this! It also comes in zebra print. This would look cool with worn in denim shorts and a plain white top and plenty bracelets and rings for a perfect festival look. (Of course you will want messy, bed-hair hair to go with the animalistic nature of this headband…)

Jasmine cream short sleeve peter pan dress

Nothing says summer like a short white dress, and this one is right up my street with the dark peter pan collar, all you need with this is an amazing pair of black, chunky heels or dark coloured mocassins. It was £30 and is now reduced to £19.95 with a further 20% off! It is so simple, but it works so well.
